More Info Released In Northumberland Schools Lockdown

New details are released in last week’s lockdown at Northumberland middle and high schools. According to the Northumberland Echo a student reported that there was a plastic pellet gun in the bathroom at the middle school. The district issued an alert saying there was a safety and security concern that caused the lockdown which lasted about 90 minutes. The Northumberland County Sheriff’s office says the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
