More Details On Gloucester School Lockdown

More details are emerging now after Gloucester High School was briefly under lockdown last Tuesday morning following an incident involving a firearm. Authorities responded swiftly to a 911 call reporting a construction worker allegedly displaying a loaded pistol on school property. 18 year old Travis Evans Jr. of Virginia Beach, faces felony charges for carrying and brandishing a firearm on public school grounds. The lockdown was initiated as a precaution due to the incident occurring outside the school building during construction. Law enforcement secured the scene promptly, and the lockdown was lifted shortly after. The incident reportedly stemmed from a dispute among coworkers.
