Middlesex County Proposes One Tax Cut & One Tax Hike

Middlesex County’s proposed 2022-2023 budget contains a tax cut for real estate owners but a hike in the boat tax. According to the Southside Sentinel ithe spending plan raises the boat tax back up to its original 98 cents per $100 in value on five-ton and heavier boats. Officials say even with the one-cent tax cut bills may still go up sue to increased property values.
