The Middlesex County Board of Supervisors approves the $37 million fiscal year 2023-2024 budget . According to the Southside Sentinel the budget passed on a 3 to 2 vote. It includes a 5% increase in salaries for all school and county employees with a contingent that it could go to 7% if the General Assembly and governor agree to appropriate more funds to teacher and county salaries. There are no real estate or personal property tax rate increases.
