Middlesex County BOS Increases Senior Real Extate Tax Relief

Middlesex County residents who are 65 and older can now apply for real estate property tax relief of up to $750. The Southside Sentinel reports the Board of Supervisors voted unanimously to he increase the maximum amount of real estate property tax relief from $500. Those eligible must be 65 or older as of Dec. 31 of the previous tax year. House ownership is required and income limits apply.
