The Middlesex County Board of Supervisors is holding a public hearing today on the proposed 2023-2024 budget. According to the Southside Sentinel the meeting is at 7:00 p.m. in the Middlesex County Historic Courthouse on General Puller Highway in Saluda. The proposed spending plan carries an 18% increase from the current budget and totals just over $37 million. Tax rates are unchanged in the new plan.
