Middlesex County BOS Considers Sewer System For Saluda & Hartfield

Now that the design of the wastewater collection system for Topping is under way the Middlesex County Board of Supervisors turns its attention to wastewater collection systems for Saluda and Hartfield. According to the Southside Sentinel cost estimates are $1.7 million for Saluda and $1 million for Hartfield’s collection system. There’s also a half-million dollars in engineering costs. The county has opted to use a low pressure system which is much cheaper to install.
