Middlesex BOS Buys Land Adjacent To 20-Acre Tract

The Middlesex County Board of Supervisors agrees to purchase around 5-1/2 acres on General Puller Highway between Saluda and Cooks Corner so access to an adjoining 30-acre tract is improved. According to the Southside Sentinel the county purchased that 30-acre parcel in 2006 to build a sewage treatment plant for the village of Saluda to discharge into Urbanna Creek. That plant was never constructed.
