The numbers are in from Virginia’s sports betting for May and according to the Virginia Lottery bets were up by 55% from May of 2021. Bettors wagered close to $352 million and won over $309 million. During May twelve licensed operators were active and accepting mobile sports wagers.In May of 2021 only 7 operators were accepting wagers in Virginia. Operators are subjected to a 15% state tax.
