Mathews Seafood Festival Is Saturday

Organizers of this year’s Mathews Seafood Festival say they expect more than 1,200 people to attend. According to the Gazette-Journal the festival is rain-or-shine and in addition to seafood and barbecue, there will be items being sold by local craft vendors plus beer and wine available for purchase. The festival is Saturday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Williams Wharf. Gates open at 2:15 p.m.
