Mathews County Holds Meeting On Opioid Settlement Funds

Mathews County officials meet today to discuss allocating funding it will receive from the Virginia Opioid Abatement Fund. The Gazette-Journal reports Administrator Ramona Wilson and her administrative team will be joined by the Middle Peninsula-Northern Neck Community Services Board, the Mathews Sheriff’s Office, Mathews Social Services, and other stakeholders. The meeting is at 4:00 p.m. in the historic courthouse and the public is invited to share information and opinions.
