Mathews County COVID-19 Transmission Rate Now At Medium

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports the COVID-19 community transmission level in Mathews County is raised from low to medium. Officials say if you are at high risk for severe illness, talk to your healthcare provider about whether you need to wear a mask and take other precautions. The community transmission rate for Lancaster, Northumberland, Gloucester, Essex and Westmoreland counties continues to be at low.
