Mathews County BOS To Vote On Budget

When the Mathews County Board of Supervisors meets next Tuesday it will vote on adopting the fiscal year 2022-2023 budget. According to the Gazette-Journal a final budget public hearing was held last week. Board chair Paul Hudgins says security was tightened for the meeting out of an abundance of caution following recent mass shootings and the nature of topics the board was to discuss. Next Tuesday’s meeting is at 6:00 p.m. in the Harry M. Ward Auditorium at Mathews High School.
