LCL Speaker Series Features Anthony Ray Hinton

The Lancaster Community Library continues its speaker series on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. with activist and author Anthony Ray Hinton. According to the Rappahannock Record Hinton will discuss his book “The Sun Does Shine: How I Found Life and Freedom on Death Row”. as well as his experience with the injustice of the American prison system. In 1985 Hinton was convicted of 2 murders in Birmingham, AL and was on death row for 28 years before his release in 2015.
