LanCo Planning Commission Holds Public Hearing On STR Proposed Changes

The Lancaster County Planning Commission held a publiuc hearing on its proposed revisions to the short-term rentals oirdinance. According to the Rappahannock Record the commission agreed to postpone a decision to allow absent commission members an opportunity to provide input. Proposed changes include a 2.5% transient occupancy tax on all rentals and requiring rental operators to carry a minimum $500,000 in commercial general liability insurance.
