LanCo Planning Commission Holding Public Hearing On STR Proposed Changes

The Lancaster County Planning Commission schedules a public hearing for April 10 on its proposed revisions to the short-term rentals oirdinance. According to the Rappahannock Record the changes include a 2.5% transient occupancy tax on all rentals and operators will need to carry a minimum $500,000 in commercial general liability insurance. Other changes include limiting occupancy to two persons per bedroom excluding minor children.
