The race for Irvington mayor is very close according to unofficial returns. Julie W. Harris is holding a slight lead over Gabe G. del Rio III. That was the only contested race in Lancaster County. In Mathews County David S. Jones, Sr. and Mike Walls are the top 2 candidates for the Board of Supervisors. In the School Board race Bobby Dobson and Lorraine Forrest top the list of candidates.
