Sept. 22 (Report begins @ 12 noon) Shakeen D. Walker, 19 of the 3,200 block of White Chapel Road, was arrested for felony violation of probation on Sept. 15. Staff notified VDOT of a downed tree interfering with traffic near Mary Ball and Old Salem Roads; responded to a mental health emergency on James Wharf Road; received a larceny report from a Pond Park resident (theft of license plates; $57 loss); received a larceny report from the 1,100 block of Carlson Road (375 fuel oil tank with oil, Sony sound system, kerosene heater, tool box with assorted tools, assorted dishes, hot plate, Dell laptop computer, VCR player, 32â flat screen TV, assorted frozen food, 2 fans; $3,733 loss); intercepted a reported reckless driver in the Lively area (medical condition involved).
Sept. 23 Douglas W. Moore, 59 of Mohans Run, was arrested for destruction of property on August 18. Staff responded to a disturbance call on School Street; received a residential burglary report from the 3,000 block of White Chapel Road (2 purses, cash, Peebles, VISA and bank credit cards, driverâs license, Wachovia and Union First Market checkbooks,; $40 loss); received a larceny report from the 5,000 block of Mary Ball Road (J.C. Penny, VISA, Kohlâs, Chesapeake Bank credit/bank cards, Bass Pro Shop gift card, personal identifying information, health insurance card, cash, purse, wallet; $162 loss); received a complaint of a prowler/attempted burglary in the 2,100 block of White Chapel Road; notified Richmond County authorities of a reported reckless
driver westbound on Rt. 3 from Field Trial Road (no Lancaster units in position to attempt to intercept); responded to a gasoline drive-off larceny incident at a White Stone area convenience store ($33 loss); responded to a suspicious person complaint in the 1,500 block of Millenbeck Road (subject was located; no criminal incident); responded to an assault by threat complaint in the Slabtown area (protective order was later issued and served); responded to a suspicious vehicle complaint in the 5,100 block of Mary Ball Road; contacted the supplier when a deputy reported a possible propane leak near Mary Ball and Goodluck Roads; responded with EMS to a medical emergency alarm on Crossroad; responded to a suspicious/trespassing vehicle complaint in the Heritage Point subdivision (disabled vehicle parked by a teenage driver; parent recovered the vehicle); responded to a suspicious persons complaint in the 2,600 block of Morattico Road (cooperative individuals located; local business found to be secure; no criminal incident).
Sept. 24 Staff responded to a domestic disturbance in the 2,000 block of Morattico Road; attempted to locate a vehicle from which a series of cellular E911 calls were made by a child who reported a female was being assaulted; received a residential burglary report from a Christ Church Road property owner (42: flat screen TV, HP laptop computer, $100 in assorted change, 5 jewelry boxes with assorted jewelry, $2,500 loss); responded to a trespass complaint in the 1,600 block of Irvington Road; responded to an E911 disconnect call determined to have originated from a student at LPS (false report of an assault); notified VDOT of a downed tree interfering with traffic on Lumberlost Road; responded with KPD to a domestic assault in the parking lot of a business on
Old Fairgrounds Way (report made by store employee; subjects were gone on arrival); responded to a residential burglary call in the 4,900 block of Windmill Point Road (domestic related; no criminal incident); responded to an annoying/threatening telephone call complaint filed by a Mt. Vernon Lane resident; responded with KPD to a prowler complaint on Shamrock Court.
Sept. 25 Staff conducted a field interview of a suspicious person found near the Kilmarnock Post Office about 3 a.m.; responded to an E911 disconnect call in the 1,100 block of Carlson Road (EMS requested by deputy for patient with chest pain); responded to a suspicious vehicle complaint at Chesapeake Academy (determined to be a staff memberâs vehicle); received a trespass complaint from a resident in the 1,000 block of White Chapel Road (call cancelled by complainant; domestic related); investigated a report of a LMS student making threats to students and of bombing the building (school administration has conducted the mandatory threat assessment; student suspended at this time; mental health evaluation pending); a staff member was involved in a deer strike
crash while operating a county vehicle (minimal damages reported); received a destruction of property report from a Bewdley Road property owner (complaint filed with magistrate; no probable cause found to issue criminal charge); responded to an E911 disconnect call on Cedardale Lane (telephone line problem); responded to a domestic disturbance (adult siblings) on Wilson Lane; notified VDOT of a downed tree interfering with traffic in the Kilmarnock area.
Sept. 26 Stuart V. Gough, 46 of Reedville, was arrested for domestic assault and battery on Feb. 2; Kevin E. Washington, 45 of Chestnut Grove Road, was arrested for contempt of a Fredericksburg City court on August 19. Staff responded to a residential burglary and larceny call on Shooting Star Lane (complainant declined to prosecute); responded with KPD to a larceny call in the 100 block of Irvington Road (KPD handling the case); responded to a domestic assault call on Wilson Lane; responded to a juvenile behavioral complaint/mental health emergency on Wesley Terrace; assist VSP with the reconstruction of a traffic crash scene in the 4,400 block of Windmill Point Road; received a larceny report from a Harbour View Drive property owner (gld
bracelet with diamonds and emeralds, butterfly bracelet with diamond and sapphire, diamond locket; $2,300 loss); attempted to intercept a vehicle reported to be involved in road rage on S. Main Street headed towards White Stone; responded to a trespass/domestic disturbance call on Gunther Lane; notified the power company of numerous reports of a tree down on the power line in the 900 block of Black Stump Road.
Sept. 27 Staff responded to a domestic disturbance on Gaskins Road; responded at approximately 12:45 a.m. to a residential burglary, just occurred on Summers Lane (homeowner confronted intruder, described as a white male, approximately 5â 8â tall, short blonde hair who escaped from the home; no property loss reported); received a larceny report from a Wilson Lane resident (purse; $15 loss); responded to an E911 disconnect call on Cedardale Lane (no emergency services needed); responded with EMS to a reported drug overdose incident on Third Avenue; responded to a reckless driving complaint in the White Stone area (complainant and juvenile suspect driver located; juvenile petitions to be filed); responded to a complaint of a stolen learnerâs permit from
a residence on Greentown Road.
Sept. 28 Douglas W. Moore, 59 of Mohans Run, was arrested for profane/threatening language over the public airway on Sept. 20 in an Albemarle County case. Staff responded with KPD to a mental health emergency on Grace Hill Circle; received a larceny report from a Camp Drive resident (cash, purse/wallet, driverâs license, assorted personal papers, Chase, REI VISA, Capital One , Lowes, Home Depot credit cards, Bank of Lancaster, Wells Fargo, Moors & Cabot checkbooks, Target, Elizabeth Arden, gift cards, prescription medications; $477 loss); at the request of the Sentara Hotline, checked on the well-being of a child in the area of Churchill Circle reported to have suffered a head injury (child was taken to the community hospital in a timely manner by the parent); responded to a domestic disturbance in the 300 block of Lara Road; investigated a suspicious vehicle parked at a N. Main Street business shortly before 11 p.m. (no criminal incident); responded to a suspicious/trespassing vehicle complaint in the 3,700 block of Merry Point Road.
Sept. 29 Staff responded to a suspicious vehicle complaint on Camp Drive; checked on the well-being of a Keep Safe program participant after prearranged telephone contact could not be made (no emergency services needed); received a walk-in report of fraud ($1,210 check fraud); received a walk-in complaint involving unlawful detainer of property (civil incident); received a walk-in report of credit card fraud ($1,759 loss); notified Middlesex authorities of a reported traffic crash on Riverside Drive; responded to an E911 disconnect call on Harbour View Drive (no emergency services needed); report ends @ 1:00 p.m.
