June 9 (Report begins @ 1:15 p.m.) Dalton L. Howard, 18 of James Lane, was arrested on a Middlesex County charge of grand larceny (felony) on June 5. Staff responded to a residential burglary alarm in the 6,500 block of  Windmill Point Road and discovered a burglary had taken place and located a vehicle suspected of being involved in a hit and run incident in Northumberland County (burglary damages not reported at this time; VSP notified of  suspect hit and run vehicle); responded to LHS to assist with a complex issue involving temporary custody of a foreign exchange student (advice sought from juvenile intake officer); responded to a trespass complaint in the Corrotoman-By-The-Bay subdivision.
June 10 Staff notified Middlesex authorities of a minor traffic crash on the Norris Bridge (involved motorist made report from Greys Point); responded to assist EMS on a call on Wiggins Avenue; responded to an E911 disconnect call on Dogwood Lane (telephone line problem); responded to an E911 call in the 400 block of Nuttsville Road (no emergency services needed); received a report of damage to and theft from a vehicle in the 1,700 block of Windmill Point Road (leather briefcase and contents stolen; $170 loss); received a complaint from an Irvington area resident about 2 attempts to defraud him/her via telephone calls (callers wanted remote access to her computer to fix a virus and about auto insurance; complainant did not release any personal identifying information); received a report of damages to a vehicle from gun fire (complainant discovered damages after parking at LMS; $2,500 damages); responded to a juvenile behavioral complaint on Joyful Way; notified VDOT of a downed tree that was blocking Rocky Neck Road; responded to a noise violation complaint and large bonfire in the 1,600 block of Windmill Point Road (controlled burn); responded to a disturbance call in the 100 block of Weems Road.
June 11 A 22 year old Lancaster area man was arrested on an Henrico County charge of contempt of court on Dec. 16, 2013; a 50 year old Gunther Lane man was arrested for assault and battery on June 8. Staff responded to a missing person incident in the Irvington area (elderly person was located by Gloucester authorities approximately 4 ½ hours after the initial complaint was received); received a motoristâs complaint of a driver not securing an infant in a car safety seat (no officer in position to intercept the vehicle); received several E911 calls that could only be tracked back to a cell tower in Northumberland County and the callerâs phone blocked incoming calls when dispatch attempted to make contact; received a walk-in complaint of trespassing.
June 12 A 26 year old Morattico Road man was arrested for assault and battery on June 6. Staff responded with KPD and KVFD to Corrotoman Circle for a lightning strike and residential fire call; received a walk-in complaint for a protective order (duty magistrate did not find probable cause to issue a protective order based on the complainantâs information); responded to an E911 disconnect call in the 12,200 block of Mary Ball Road (telephone line problem); received a walk-in complaint of a domestic argument involving a public school education issue; responded to Regina Road for traffic control while VDOT removed a downed tree that was blocking traffic; received a destruction of property report from a Washington Street resident (door jamb; $150
damages); responded to a fight call in the 2,300 block of Morattico Road.
June 13 A 55 year old Peake Road man was arrested on Henrico County charges of profane/threatening language over the public airways, and 2 counts of assault and battery, all on June 5; a 21 year old River Road man was arrested for assault and battery on June 6; Karlide A. Harding, Jr., 23 of Gunther Lane, was arrested for felonious assault on June 8. Staff responded to a juvenile behavioral complaint on Wilson Lane; responded with KPD and EMS to an intentional prescription drug overdose call in the 200 block of Irvington Road; responded to a domestic disturbance call on Peake Road (arrest reported above); responded to a runaway/suicidal juvenile incident on Whispering Pines Road (juvenile was located and found to be safe within 45 minutes of initial report); notified VDOT of numerous complaints of large chunks of concrete on the Norris Bridge; responded to an E911 disconnect call on Bewdley Road (telephone line problem); responded to an abandoned/trespassing vehicle complaint on Kamps Mill Road; recovered an abandoned bicycle from the 3,900 block of White Chapel Road; responded with KPD to a fight call on Fox Hill Drive; responded to a domestic disturbance on Joyful Way; responded to a trespass complaint on Goodluck Road.
June 14 Staff responded to a noise violation complaint in the 300 block of Chesapeake Drive; responded to an E911 disconnect call in the 17,000 block of Mary Ball Road (no emergency services needed); responded with KPD to a disorderly conduct complaint in the 100 block of Irvington Road; responded to a disorderly conduct/trespass complaint at a Lively area convenience store; responded with KPD to a fight call involving several women on Fox Hill Drive; responded with VSP at the request of Northumberland authorities to a fight call on Mila Road; responded to a residential burglary in the 900 block of Ocran Road (no damages; 2 dogs missing from outside kennel); responded with EMS to a medical emergency on Wiggins Avenue; responded to a noise violation complaint in the area of Shore Drive.
June 15 Staff attempted to locate a juvenile reported as missing from Northumberland County (juvenile was located as safe approximately 10 hours after the initial report was received); checked on the well-being of a Benson Road resident at the request of a concerned out-of-town resident (no emergency services needed); responded to a possible larceny complaint in the 5,400 block of Mary Ball Road (complainant reported his 15 year old Jack Russell terrier may have been stolen from his vehicle); received a report of a reckless driver entering the county from Greys Point (no officer in position to attempt to intercept); responded to a juvenile behavioral complaint on Black Stump Road (juvenile intake officer notified); received a walk-in complaint of an assault;
responded at the request of Northumberland authorities to a trespass/noise violation complaint at the Hughlett
Point nature preserve.
June 16 Staff responded to an E911 disconnect call on Plainfield Farm Road (telephone line problem); responded to an attempted burglary complaint on Lancaster Creek Drive (no criminal incident); notified the game department of a citizenâs report of finding an injured blue heron in the area of Kent Point Road; received a complaint from a Nugent Lane resident of an attempt to defraud him/her via telephone call (caller requested specific information in order to remotely repair his/her computer; no personal or financial information was released by the complainant); received a trespass complaint from a Slabtown Road resident; responded to an abandoned vehicle complaint on Crawfords Corner Road; report ends @ 2:30 p.m.
