Lancaster County School Board To Issue Construction Bond

The Lancaster County School Board is asking the board of supervisors to issue a bond to finance construction of a new middle and high school near Dream Fields in Kilmarnock. According to the Rappahannock Record the division issued a resolution seeking the $63 million bond through an application to the Virginia Public Schools Authority. Supervisors need to hold public hearings by late September and provide a firm commitment by early October to secure financing.
