The Lancaster County School Board begins the process of building a new middle/high school on the recently purchased Irvington Road property at Hills Quarter. According to the Rappahannock Record the board unanimously voted to issue a request for proposals on the project which is being consulted by a Williamsburg firm. Bids are typically expected to be submitted within 45 to 60 days.
