Lancaster County Planning Commission Looking At Changing STR Ordinance

The Lancaster County Planning Commission is considering revisions to the county’s short-term rental ordinance in response to a growing number of resident complaints. According to the Rappahannock Record the 2018 ordinance had no limits on where or how short term rentals through services like AirBNB could occur. The complaints include parties, noise, number of people and trespassing. The commission will continue discussing ordinance changes when it meets next month.
