The Lancaster County Board of Supervisors narrowly approves a special exception application and siting agreement for the Waller Solar Project. According to the Rappahannock Record the vote followed a public hearing with more than 30 people appearing to voice their opinions plus nearly 15 letters were sent to the board. Project developer Open Resource Renewables was on hand to answer questions and address concerns. The 161-megawatt solar farm will cover 1,000 acres near Alfonso and Nuttsville.
