The Lancaster County Board of Supervisors decides to use county property on Greenvale Creek to provide public water access at Thomas Landing Pier. News on the Neck reports the county sought proposals to construct the ADA-compliant, L-shaped pier and received one bid from Docks of the Bay. The base bid was just over $72,000 but supervisors opted to add upgrades to extend the pier’s useful life bringing the total cost to over $120,000.
