Kilmarnock Planning Commission Recommends S. Main St. Rezoning Request

The Kilmarnock Planning Commission recommends rezoning of a South Main Street property from limited commercial to general commercial. The Rappahannock Record reports the request from Chesapeake Homes was made to locate their offices at that location along with placing one of the company’s model homes in the adjacent vacant lot. Chesapeake Homes is currently at 201 North Main Street. The request now goes to the Board of Supervisors.
