Kilmarnock Council Covers A Lot Of Ground

The Kilmarnock Town Council has been pretty busy lately. Council has declared today as Judy Stevens Day in recognition of her 34 years of exemplary service as treasurer. Stevens recently received a standing ovation and a resolution honoring her dedication. Council unanimously appointed Davida V. Williams as the new treasurer. Additionally, the council proclaimed this week as National Safe Boating Week at the request of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 33 and the Northern Neck Sail & Power Squadron. In other business, a proposal for a new picnic shelter at Town Centre Park was approved, along with purchases for the Fox Hill Pump Station renovation and security cameras at the wastewater treatment plant.
