Jury Convicts Felon for Drug Trafficking Crimes and Gloucester County Shooting

A federal jury convicted a Gloucester County felon on drug and firearm charges related to a 2020 road rage shooting. Prosecutors say Nathan DeAlbert Mattocks was shooting at another vehicle in the area of Hickory Fork Road. When Mattocks was arrested officers found the drugs and firearms in his vehicle. He was also convicted of witness tampering and obstruction of justice. Sentencing is Nov. 29 and Mattocks could be in jail for life.
