The town of Irvington planning commission is recomending short-term rental permit approval for 2 properties on Steamboat Road. According to the Rappahannock Record the vote to approve the permits came after a public hearing where many spoke out against the approval with some saying they are concerned over the number of short-term rentals while other complained about the rentals reducing property values. The Town Counil will now vote on the permits.
