Hunt History Forum To Hold Roots Music Event

The Foundation for Historic Christ Church holds the first event its John H. Hunt II Chesapeake History Forum series at 4:00 p.m. this Saturday at the church in Weems. According to the Rappahannock Record the inaugural event spotlights the work of traditional musicians which laid the groundwork for some of the most important genres of American music including country, blues and gospel. Tickets are $40 and may be purchased at ChristChurch1735.org or at the Church office.
