Attorneys for John Hooper, the man found guilty in the death of Graham McCormick from a 2017 boating crash in Lancaster County filed a motion for sentence duration reduction in Lancaster County Circuit Court. According to the Rappahannock Record the motion claims Hooper’s freedoms were significantly restricted for 3-1/3 years while awaiting trial. Hooper was sentenced to 30 years in jail with 24 years suspended. His jail term began earlier this month.
