Hooper Appeals LanCo Involuntary Manslaughter Conviction

The man found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the 2017 death of Graham McCormick in Lancaster County files an appeal claiming his due process was violated. Prosecutors say Rand Hooper was operating a boat in Carter Creek when the death occurred but according to WTVR Hooper’s lawyers said in the appeal there was no direct evidence he was driving the vessel. Hooper was sentenced to 6 years in jail.
