Home Sales Down But Prices Up Last Month

The Virginia Realtors released its February Homes Sales Report and while transactions were down prices were still on a steady increase. Last month’s home sales were 20% lower than in Fevruary 2022 and more than 31% down from February 2021. February’s median home sales price rose by nearly 6% to $370,000. Experts say the recent events in the banking sector have made many potential buyers decuide to delay their purchase.
