Heating Bill Assistance Applications Open Next Month
Applications for Virginia’s fuel assistance program for home heating bills open October 11. Applicants must have an income less than 150% of the federal poverty level and meet other requirements. You can submit an application through Virginia’s CommonHelp portal or by mailing a completed form to your local social services office.The application deadline is November 14 and benefits will be issued the first week of January.
