Lancaster County Board of Supervisors is working on the 2022-2023 budget. The first reading included a 10% salary hike for all full time and some part-time county employees, according to the Rappahannock Record. County administrator Don Gill is calling for the same pay increases as were requested by the school division. The proposed $44.2 million spending plan is close to 14% more than the current budget. A public hearing on the school budget takes place this Thursday at 5:00 PM.
