Greg Dove has been promoted to Line Superintendent for Northern Neck Electric Cooperative. The promotion means that Dove will now be responsible for the management of all line construction, power restoration, and linework maintenance for the coop’s more than 2,000 miles of utility lines, and he will also lead all the linework crews. For more than 20 years, Dove has been a serviceman for Northern Neck Electric Cooperative, and he has been working as a journeyman line worker for the last 15 years. Dove is a graduate of Westmoreland High School and Northwest Lineman’s College, with more than 5,000 hours of training in linework. He was chosen for the new position because of his exceptional leadership skills and dedication according to a press release from the coop.
