Gloucester County reminds residents we are into the time of year when tropical systems most affect our area. Hurricane Idalia may brush our region later this week. That is why they are collecting resident feedback about the citizens needs during an impending storm to ensure that they are meeting the needs of the community. There is a link to that survey up on the county’s Facebook page. The latest update from the National Hurricane Center shows Hurricane Idalia making landfall along the Gulf Coast of Florida on Wednesday morning. It’ll then sweep up the Eastern seaboard and is expected to turn E just as it starts to bring rain to the Virginia coast.
