Gloucester County Hurricane Preparedness Expo Is Aug. 6

Gloucester County’s Emergency Management Department is holding a Hurricane Preparedness Expo on Saturday, Aug. 6 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Gloucester Home Depot on Waltons Lane. It takes place during Virginia’s sales tax holiday when you can purchase hurricane and emergency preparedness items without paying sales tax. The Expo will not only provide a wealth of information from the County and visitors will see the LifeEvac helicopter plus meet members of the Gloucester Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad.
