Gloucester County Hosts Annual Peak Hurricane Season Meeting

The Gloucester County government offices were visited Tuesday by Federal Emergency Management Agency Region III Administrator MaryAnn Tierney and officials from the Virginia Department of Emergency Management. They were there for the Annual Peak Hurricane Season Meeting that was held in the county’s Emergency Operations Center. The meeting served as an opportunity to learn more about how Gloucester County Virginia Government and other localities can work with the larger agencies to ensure a quicker and more robust response in the wake of a disaster.
