Gloucester County BOS To Vote On Budget

The Gloucester County Board of Supervisors will be voting next Tuesday on adopting the fiscal year 2023 budget. According to the Gazette-Journal county employees would receive a 5.6%pay increase while school employees would get a 5.9%increase. Lawmakers say the raises are needed to both keep and hire employees. The tax rate will increase by 3 cents per $100 of assessed valuation. The meeting is at 7:00 p.m. in the colonial courthouse.
