The Gloucester Chick-fil-A restaurant awarded seven scholarships to its employees as part of the company’s Remarkable Futures Scholarship program. Franchise operator John Gordon tells the Gazette-Journal the scholarships are given to exemplary employees looking to pursue higher education who maintain at least a C average. The scholarships are for various amounts starting at $1,000. Winners weere determined by an outside group that reviewed applications.
