Fire Destroys Richmond County Home & 7 Vehicles

A Richmond County waterfront home and 7 vehicles were destroyed in a fire on Monday. According to CBS 6 Richmond County Volunteer firefighters found flames had spread from the cars to the home so reinforcements were called in. Crews from Callao, Upper Lancaster, Kilmarnock, Tappahannock-Essex and Fairfield assisted. The Richmond County Rescue Squad, Richmond County Sheriff’s Office and the Northern Neck Electric Co-Op also responded. No one was hurt and the fire’s cause is being investigated.
