A fire on Tuesday destroyed the New Hope Memorial Baptist Church near Glenns. The Southside Sentinel reports state police are investigating the fire and a cause hasn’t yet been determined. This is the third King & Queen County church to burn in just more than a year. Lower King and Queen Baptist Church in Dragonville was destroyed in August and Old Church United Methodist Church sustained major damage in September 2020.
