A fire on Wednesday damaged a home on Lord Carrington Dr. in Gloucester County. Firefighters encountered heavy flames coming from the second floor and the attic of the structure. Crews from the Mathews County Volunteer Fire Department assisted the Gloucester County firefighters. Officials say units were on the scene for three hours. It’s not known if anyone was hurt.
