A federal judge has dismissed efforts to block the 45th President of the United States, Donald Trump, from appearing on Virginia’s presidential primary and general election ballots. The U.S. District Judge ruled that the activists who filed the suit lacked legal standing to challenge Trump’s eligibility for office because they “totally failed” to show that Trump’s presence on Virginia’s ballot would cause them specific harm. The ruling also means that there won’t be any late-breaking developments regarding Trump’s eligibility as a primary candidate in Virginia. That comes just in time, as early voting for Virginia’s March 5 presidential primaries begins soon… on January 19.
