Federal charges against four of eight people from Gloucester who were arrested following the raid of two smoke shops in February have now been dismissed.
The Daily Press reports that two others who pleaded guilty to charges related to selling synthetic drugs will face trial in August.
The U.S. Attorney’s office in Newport News, says indictements were dismissed for James “Randy” Belvin of Hayes; Thomas “Cory” Rainer, of Gloucester; Martice “Marty” Wise III, of Gloucester; and Joshua Burleson of Gloucester Point.
The four were charged after a raid at Lutie’s Lair Martial Arts Equipment and Gifts in Hayes and High Tyde Trading and Tobacco in Gloucester Point back in February.
