ECSO Holds Annual Check Mate Luncheon

Last Friday Essex County Sheriff W.A. “Arnie” Holmes and the county’s dispatchers sponsored its Annual “Check Mate” luncheon at Romas Restaurant in Tappahannock. Dispatchers and “Check Mate” participants said it was great to see the faces behind the voices. The “Check Mate” program was implemented in 2018 to check on the senior citizens in Essex County.
