Early voting numbers are up in 2021 compared with 4 years ago according to the Virginia Public Access Project. As of Monday nearly 725,000 people voted early compared to less than 195,000 early voters in 2017. More of those voters are Democrats and the organization also reports Democrats are mailing in ballots by a nearly 3-to-1 margin over Republicans. Early voting ends Saturday at 5:00 p.m. and Election day is Tuesday.
