Last Thursday members of the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office, along with Tri-Rivers Drug Task Force agents executed a search warrant on Stampers Bay Road in Hartfield.
Now, the Sheriff’s Office says James Taylor III of Hartfield has been arrested and charged with possession of more than 5 pounds of marijuana with intent to distribute.
Investigators say Taylor got the marijuana through the U.S. Postal Service, and that little fact could possibly make the offense a federal charge.
The investigation is continuing, and more arrests and charges could be coming according to officials.
