Dominion Energy Gets OK To Recoup Wind Power Project Investment From Ratepayers

Dominion Energy ratepayers will be digging a little deeper into their pockets starting next month so the utility can recover costs for its $9.8 billion proposed Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind Project. The State Corporation Commission approved a revenue requirement of $78 million for the rate year of Sept. 1 to Aug. 1, 2023. The average customer will see around a $5 charge but that will gradually increase to over $14 by 2027.
