DMV Launches Online Pre-Application For New Driver Licenses

The Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles launches an online pre-application for new residents who need to exchange their out-of-state driver licenses. This new application is part of DMV’s “start anywhere” services, which allows customers to start certain applications from the comfort of their own homes or on the go. Customers can also choose to upgrade their credentials to a REAL ID during any of the start-anywhere driver or ID services.
